How Our Company Started
ECA Gate & Lock has a long history in the Atlanta Metro area. However, there were a few years of company and brand name changes like the game of musical chairs before we came to be the local gate repair and installation company we are today.
ECA Systems Group LLC was originally founded in 1994 as an electronic entry access control company (hence the acronym ECA) providing sales, service, and installation of card/FOB/keypad access systems for buildings. The company also provided sales, service, fabrication, and installation of automatic and manual vehicle and pedestrian gate systems. Camera and video systems sales, service, and installation were added to the product portfolio.
Two Companies Joining Forces
In 1988, a traditional mechanical locksmith service company called All State Lock and Security provided door hardware services and installation, vehicle lockout services, master key systems, restricted key systems as well as safe and vault service and repair. This company existed under single ownership until 2007 when it was acquired by a parent company called Systematic Solutions LLC.
Systematic Solutions LLC also acquired ECA Systems Group LLC the previous year in 2006 when the company went through a change of ownership. All State Lock and Security and ECA Systems Group joined forces in October 2013, thus the company ALL STATE ECA, LLC was officially born.
Rebranding as ECA Gate & Lock
In July of 2021, ALL STATE ECA, LLC was acquired by the engineering group, MBT Industries, LLC, and rebranded as ECA Gate & Lock. This transition focuses on bringing increased customer support to our mechanical and electrical engineering services as well as adding gate design and manufacturing to the company. We want to expand our ability to produce high-quality custom gate installation and bring those beautiful results to clients across the Metro Atlanta area.
